The Houston Aquas converted a terrific effort from starter Yadisniel Saez into a win over the Vancouver Wolves at Fox-Chong Park. The Aquas won the game by a final score of 4-2. Saez, now 15-7, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Danny Mathews closed the game out for Houston, earning his 29th save.

Houston used the timely hitting of Marco Feron to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Aquas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"All in all, I thought Yadisniel pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Houston manager Brandon Coroian.

With the victory, the Aquas upped their record to 75-64.
