Rodda Twirls a Gem for Las Vegas
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Las Vegas Aces and Vancouver Wolves.

The Las Vegas Aces picked up a win at Fox-Chong Park, knocking off the Vancouver Wolves, 5-0. On the mound for Las Vegas was right-hander Carl Rodda, who played a pivotal role in the win. The third-place Aces have won 6 in a row.

The famously hardworking Rodda handled the Wolves all day, notching 7 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 3 hits. Rodda, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2072 draft, goes to 9-9 on the year with 87 strikeouts.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian. "Our pregame was pretty good."
