Alaska Beats Seattle, 3-2
|
The Alaska Kodiaks defeated the Seattle Arrows, 3-2, in Western Conference action at Power Ballpark. Alaska pitcher Quinn Topp had a standout performance. Javy Granillo converted his 6th save in 9 tries. The Kodiaks saw their win-loss record go to 74-65. At the same time, the Arrows fell to 62-77.
Tillmam Velado, who led the EC in home runs with 58 in 2082, had a direct impact on the outcome. Velado contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Alaska up, 3-2.
