Kings Sneak Past Titans, 1-0
|
In a well-pitched game between the Baltimore Kings and the New York Titans, pitcher Jelle Jamin was fantastic. The Baltimore left-hander helped his team secure the win, 1-0. Baltimore now sits in 4th place in the Eastern Conference Jose Santovenia Division at 64-76.
In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 0-0, right fielder Koufuu Tabata won it for Baltimore. With a runner on 1st, Tabata hit a 1-1 sinker from Miguel Soto for a run-scoring double, giving his team the 1-0 win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Jamin told the Baltimore Times.
