Las Vegas parlayed a decent outing from starter Salomé Sieuve into a solid win over the Portland Dragons. The final score was 4-3. Las Vegas reliever Danny Galaviz got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Luke Torres was tagged with the loss. J.P. McNealy sewed up the save, his 20th.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Venceslau Pontes to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Aces on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Sieuve.

The 'W' lifts Las Vegas's record to 66-75.
