Getting a good performance from right fielder Hermenegildo Capitanio, the Portland (E) Lobster defeated the Toronto Juggernauts, 9-5. Capitanio went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Lobster. Patrick Ehlers, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Portland (E) is now 58-82.

Portland (E) used the timely hitting of Daniel de la Cruz to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lobster on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Portland (E) manager Matthew McExpos.
