Win Lifts Browns to 79-63
|
Brooklyn got a strong outing from Vince Tozier as the Browns defeated the Boston Greens, 5-2, at Arrington Park. Brooklyn is now 79-63.
Jimmy Keener, who finished 3rd in the EC in hits with 197 in 2082, aided the Brooklyn cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles.
"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier.
