Boston turned a good effort from starter Frank Ulloa into a win over the Brooklyn Browns at Arrington Park. The final score was 2-1. With the victory, the Greens upped their record to 73-69.
Ulloa gave Boston a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-4 left-hander permitted no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.
