In a low-scoring contest, Maine pitcher Ted Ayres was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-0 win. Ayres yielded no runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 10-9. Chris Maxwell got the save, the 19th for him this season.
