Munoz Goes Deep Twice in 9-5 Toros Win
The Los Angeles Stars and Tucson Toros met at Stars Ballpark to settle a score.

Jesus Munoz powered the Tucson Toros to a win over the Los Angeles Stars. The final score was 9-5. The Tucson catcher was phenomenal. He stroked 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Tucson pitcher Dong-u Jee got the win, upping his record to 4-3. Kingsley Bozek got the loss.

Francisco Vialpando drove in one run for Tucson. The 24-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Kingsley Bozek. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"Jesus was ready to go. Big day for him," said Tucson manager Rick Barnes.

The Toros raised their record to 74-70.
