The Chicago Phantoms beat the Seattle Arrows, 8-3, at Power Ballpark. Chicago designated hitter Lan-quing Qiu had the hot bat. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Chicago reliever Lan-fang Lai picked up the win, while B.J. Terriquez took the loss for Seattle. The Phantoms win now puts them at 87-57.

Chicago used a well-timed hit by Min-gook You to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Phantoms ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
