Greens Slap 6-3 Loss on Cyclones

The Boston Greens topped the Miami Cyclones, 6-3, in Eastern Conference action at Kroger Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Javy Alejo. The victory gives Boston a record of 74-70.
Boston used the timely hitting of Matt Steinruck to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Greens on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Steinruck said his team "played with focus and determination."
