Cole Hits Two Homers in 6-2 Win for Buffalo
Charlie Cole knocked in 4 runs to help Buffalo beat Cincinnati, 6-2. The Edmonton, Canada native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. Jose Ruiz picked up the win with 7.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 4-1. Getting the save was Lupe Sandoval, his 1st.

Cole had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from David Prentice, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Rangers a 3-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Cole.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Cole.

Buffalo now sits at 23-17, while Cincinnati falls to 16-24.
