Adam Stokes left his imprint on the 3-1 Havana win against the Philadelphia Spectres. Stokes, who is tied for 8th in the EC in extra base hits with 65, belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Zoraide Evangelista. His record is now 16-9. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Metropolitanos. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Metropolitanos.

Stokes had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-2 curveball from Felix Talamantez, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Metropolitanos a 3-1 lead. It was the 28th home run of the year for Stokes.
