Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Baltimore Kings and Cincinnati Twins.
The Baltimore Kings topped the Cincinnati Twins, 5-3, in Eastern Conference action at Cincinnati Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Baltimore pitcher and Kwangyang, South Korea, native Dong-u Jee. Jee, now 9-5, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs.
In the top of the first, Ko Kuroda ambushed a 1-1 changeup from Jesus Carbajal and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Baltimore a quick 2-0 lead.
Jee told a Baltimore Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
Baltimore now sits at 67-81, while Cincinnati falls to 61-86.
