Kings Take Tight Tangle
The Baltimore Kings used the hitting of third baseman Heater Watkins to subdue the Washington Senators, 5-4. For the game, Watkins hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Baltimore, at 93-55, occupies first place in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Baltimore trailing 4-3, Watkins jumped on a splitter from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Xiong Loh and hit a 2-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Kings had a walk-off win.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Washington manager Josh Cooan. "But we decided not to take it."
