Skidding Harfangs Lose 8th Straight
|
The Boston Greens topped the Montreal Harfangs, 4-2, in Eastern Conference action at Mount Royal Park. The standout performance belonged to Boston pitcher and Burlington, North Carolina, native Javy Alejo. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Montreal.
Boston used a timely hit from Ray Farr to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Greens ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"If it can go wrong, it will go wrong," said Brendan Henry, the Montreal manager.
