Fans who congregated at Tesoro Stadium were treated to extra-inning drama.

Chicago starter Craig Kruppenbacher pitched well against the Houston Aquas at Tesoro Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 11 innings. At 91-59, the Phantoms are currently first in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jose Buezo? The two-time All-Star Buezo stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Chicago up, 4-3. For the game, he was 4 for 6, including 1 double and 3 singles.

"I'm happy we won," said Kruppenbacher. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
