The Denver Glaciers got a magnificent effort from pitcher Edwin Munoz, who kept Seattle hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Glaciers win at Mountain Dew Park. Adam Mimnaugh got the save, his 38th in 39 chances. The loss makes Seattle 66-85.
Denver second baseman Ramon Chirino contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a sinker to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 121st hit of the season and put the Glaciers ahead, 2-1.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Chirino said.
