Metropolitanos Take Home 2-0 Win Over Toronto
|
Havana Metropolitanos starter Joyee Cameron pitched a good game to help his team take down the Toronto Juggernauts, 2-0. The winner was Cameron. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Albin Muscetta. Andino D'Elia closed the game out for Havana, earning his 22nd save.
Loo Xiu helped out the Havana cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
"I'm happy we won," said Cameron. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
The last-place Metropolitanos hiked their record to 64-88.
