The Las Vegas Aces beat the Houston Aquas, 5-3. Las Vegas pitcher and Pedro Brand, Dominican Republic, native Nestor Cantu led the way. J.P. McNealy collected his 22nd save. After today's action, Las Vegas sits at 69-83; Houston slips to 80-72.

Las Vegas took a 5-3 lead on Bobby Brito's 25th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Brito hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Houston pitcher Ricky Zika visibly frustrated.
