Estadio Latinoamericano was the site for Eastern Conference action featuring the Havana Metropolitanos and Boston Greens.

The Boston Greens got a marvelous performance from pitcher Kevin Adkins. The right-hander kept the Havana offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 Boston victory at Estadio Latinoamericano. Boston is now 26-15, 3½ games up in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.

Boston catcher Ray Boos contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two down, he hit a splitter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 39th hit of the season and put the Greens ahead, 5-2.

"Kevin's as tough as he is talented," said Boston manager Matt Glazer.
