Fans watched the Maine Lobster and the Miami Cyclones fight to the finish.

In a high-scoring contest between Maine and Miami, shortstop Ray Farr was a difference-maker. Farr, who led the WC in doubles with 52 in 2077, distinguished himself in the 9-8 Maine win. He was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The Lobster saw their record improve to 21-21.

The Lobster got a big hit from pinch hitter Barry Kearney. In the bottom of the sixth, Kearney smacked a 3-run home run off Miami pitcher Robert Rosas. It was his 1st home run of the season. Suddenly, the Lobster were ahead, 7-6.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Kearney told the Maine News. "It's as simple as that."
