The timely hitting of Mike McKasson helped the Philadelphia Spectres down the Brooklyn Browns, 9-6. McKasson was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Spectres. The winner was Tony Madena in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Jimmy Camacho took the loss. Warren Dooks was credited with the save for Philadelphia, his 3rd of the season.
McKasson contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Philadelphia get the win.
"We'll take this win and move on," said McKasson.
The Spectres go to 21-23, putting them 4th in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division.
