Left-hander Kiyohiro Kaneshiro mesmerized the Baltimore Kings while leading the San Francisco Friars to a 4-0 victory. Tony Rosa got credit for the save for San Francisco. It was his 1st of the year. With this game in the books, San Francisco is 21-24, Baltimore 22-23.

San Francisco used a well-timed hit by Ruden Lopez to capture the win. The shortstop socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Friars ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Kiyohiro had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said San Francisco manager Erich Weatherholt.
