Juggernauts Defeat Greens, 3-2
|
The Toronto Juggernauts did just enough to secure a victory over the Boston Greens, 3-2, in 13 innings at Molson Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Fisko Loera. Albin Muscetta, now 3-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. Toronto is 4th in the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division with a record of 22-24.
The Juggernauts got a clutch hit from center fielder Orandy Noda. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Juggernauts.
"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Juggernauts manager Marc Arnold.
