Starting pitcher Salomé Sieuve gave the Las Vegas Aces a rock-solid effort. The Maracaibo, Venezuela native helped his team defeat the Houston Aquas, 3-2, at Western Coliseum. Las Vegas, at 70-83, occupies 4th place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

Venceslau Pontes was the walk-off hero for Las Vegas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aces center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Brandon Coroian.
