Aquas Lose to Destroyers, 5-4
|
Houston shortstop Raul Samaniego had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Samaniego was 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk, even as San Diego beat the Aquas, 5-4. San Diego is now 62-92, while Houston is 80-74.
Alex Pedraja helped out the San Diego cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Houston manager Brandon Coroian said, following the tough loss.
