The San Francisco Friars earned a close win over the Vancouver Wolves, thanks in part to George Roscoe. The San Francisco left-hander played a key role in the 10-inning, 2-1 victory. After today's action, San Francisco sits at 74-80, while Vancouver falls to 68-86.

Bryce Gekas, who is tied for 6th in the WC in doubles with 46, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gekas contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the tenth inning to put San Francisco up, 2-1.

"We had a chance to win," said Vancouver manager Zach Meinen, "but we didn't get it done."
