Barrabi Stars for Kodiaks in 13-5 Win
|
The Alaska Kodiaks grabbed a win, 13-5, over the Denver Glaciers at Mountain Dew Park. Alaska second baseman Adir Barrabi slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 9 runs and scored three times. The winner was Jack Perry, who threw 90 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 4 hits. The Kodiaks raised their record to 80-74.
With Alaska leading 9-5 in the top of the seventh, Barrabi came up to bat against Denver pitcher Luis Muratalla. Barrabi hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 24th home run of the season put the Kodiaks on top, 13-5.
