With 3-1 Win, Browns Improve to 85-69
Brooklyn and Miami played a hard-fought contest.

A good performance from first baseman Eddie Kelly helped the Brooklyn Browns defeat the Miami Cyclones, 3-1. Kelly went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Browns. Omar Romero, now 4-5, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings.

Brooklyn took a 3-1 lead on Kelly's 13th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Shi-kai Liu in the top of the seventh, propelled Brooklyn to the win.

"We put together a nice win," Kelly said.

The Browns move to 85-69 with the win, while the Cyclones drop to 58-97.
