The Vancouver Wolves beat the San Antonio Angels, 6-1, at Tesoro Stadium. Starting pitcher Raul Garibaldi was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Garibaldi picked up the win for Vancouver, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 11-16. The Wolves, now 75-81, have won 5 in a row.

Vancouver used the timely hitting of Koson Kitano to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolves on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
