Juggernauts Win, Now 81-75
|
Toronto starter Eddy Seasholtz pitched well against the Havana Metropolitanos at Molson Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Seasholtz picked up the win for Toronto, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 10-9. At 81-75, the Juggernauts claim third place in the Eastern Conference Rodney Hartley Division.
The Juggernauts took the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Eddie Simon banged a two-out double. Toronto had been trailing 2-1, but Simon hit a 0-1 fastball from Kane Lancaster for a bases-clearing double.
After the game, Toronto manager Marc Arnold applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
