The Houston Aquas and starting pitcher Ricky Zika stifled the Chicago offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Foster Field. Zika got the win, improving to 13-10. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Houston, at 82-75, occupies second place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Al Anzaldua? The Houston second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Aquas on top, 4-0. For the game, Anzaldua had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
