The Philadelphia Spectres wiggled past the Maine Lobster, 5-4, at Ballpark of Portland. The win was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia third baseman Vincent Horvers. The win went to Tommy Pepper in relief, making him now 2-2. Chris Maxwell took the loss for Maine. Divino Aljeroz sewed up the save, his 13th.

Dave Palacios drew 3 walks, while adding 2 RBI for Philadelphia. The 26-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jesus Meza. It was his 93rd walk of the season.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff. "It's usually not just one thing."

The Spectres improved their record to 81-76 by beating Maine.
