Philadelphia Beats Buffalo in 10-Inning Thriller
|
The Philadelphia Spectres picked up a win at Sony Field at Philadelphia, downing the Buffalo Rangers, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Philadelphia was right-hander Alberto Zamora, who played a pivotal role in the win. The third-place Rangers have dropped 4 straight games.
The Spectres got a clutch hit from first baseman Maddox Lannigan. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Spectres.
"Alberto's a gamer," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff. "Glad he's on our side."
