The Denver Glaciers and Vancouver Wolves obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Denver beat Vancouver at Mountain Dew Park, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to center fielder Kyle Opila. He was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. Denver, at 90-68, occupies first place in the Western Conference Eddie Izurieta Division.

Ling-lai Li was the walk-off hero for Denver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Glaciers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Li said.
