The Miami Cyclones eked out a 3-2 win versus the Cincinnati Twins at Cincinnati Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Billy Lorsung. He was terrific. The Cyclones raised their record to 69-89.

Miami took a 3-1 lead on Jose Neria's 17th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Neria hit in the top of the eighth, left Cincinnati pitcher Richie Caceres visibly frustrated.

Miami manager Chris Stephan commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
