Havana Metropolitanos starter Chih Lum worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Buffalo Rangers, 5-1. Lum got the win, improving to 4-11. He gave up 3 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. Antonio Ramires sewed up the save, his 2nd.
It could have been a different outcome for Havana, had it not been for Dustin Siepker, the 28-year old third baseman . Siepker contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Havana up, 2-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Lum told the Havana News.
The Metropolitanos now have a record of 68-91 with the win over Buffalo.
