Glaciers Handed 6-5 Loss by Seattle
|
Though he had a stellar game, Alex Guilzar could not prevent his team, the Denver Glaciers, from losing, 6-5, to the Seattle Arrows. Guilzar was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Felipe Diaz picked up the win, improving his season record to 11-11. He struck out 5 in 5.1 innings. Mike Kostin sewed up the save, his 1st.
Brian Prochazka, who is tied for 10th in the WC in total bases with 290, helped out the Seattle cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"No time for flexing," said Prochazka. "It's always one game at a time."
With the win, the Arrows improved to 70-91.
