Alaska had no answer for San Francisco Friars hurler Kiyohiro Kaneshiro, who overwhelmed Kodiaks hitters as the Friars coasted to victory, 6-1. San Francisco is in third place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division with a record of 79-82.

Ken Draves, the San Francisco third baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to make the score 2-0, Friars. For the game, Draves went 1 for 4.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Kaneshiro.
