Despite a great performance by Buffalo shortstop Josh Beauchesne, the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Rangers by the score of 5-4 at Western Coliseum. Beauchesne was 3-3 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Las Vegas reliever Mike Pechtel picked up the win, while Hector Venni took the loss for Buffalo. The Aces are now 87-75, while the Rangers fall to 103-59.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Las Vegas third baseman Trevor Guerra, facing Hector Venni, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Aces the 5-4 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Guerra said.
