Brooklyn and Toronto duked it out and the Browns came out victorious.

The Brooklyn Browns overcame a pretty good performance by Toronto right fielder Keith Cassavaugh, beating the Juggernauts, 5-3, at Brown Town. Cassavaugh went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jorge Gamez earned the save for Brooklyn, his 1st.

Brooklyn took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Hotel Jesus Jr. hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Browns.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Jesus Jr., "and then get after it again."

Brooklyn, at 27-24, holds down third place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division.
