Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Denver Glaciers and Minneapolis Vikings.

Denver Glaciers starter Edwin Munoz hurled his team past the Minneapolis Vikings, 6-2. The 4th-place Glaciers now have a record of 23-30.

Chris Eighmy went 1 for 4 with a walk for Denver. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Katsuo Nozawa. It was his 28th walk of the season.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Denver skipper Todd Bleess.
