No one was more impactful than Noah Taylor in the 9-6 San Francisco win over Cincinnati. Taylor went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times. San Francisco pitcher Heriberto Flores earned the win, hiking his record to 3-2. Tony Hernandez suffered the loss. Bruce Feyereisen picked up the save, his 2nd.

Sean Oehlert had a big 2-run double for the Friars in the bottom of the first inning. With San Francisco leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Tony Hernandez and swatted a double to right. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Friars ahead, 3-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Oehlert, "and today was a good one for us."

San Francisco goes to 27-26, Cincinnati to 19-34.
