Maine starter Chris Maxwell put a stranglehold on the Buffalo offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Lobster to a 6-0 win. Maine is now 27-27.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fourth inning, but Maxwell was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and Buffalo trailing 2-0, Maxwell retired Jose Puga, who struck out.
