Dryden Ice, who is tied for 5th in the WC in innings pitched with 72.0, was locked in. The right-hander led the Denver Glaciers to a 4-3 win against the Alaska Kodiaks at Mountain Dew Park. With the win, the Glaciers improved to 31-24.

The decisive blow was delivered by Ko Kuroda in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Miao to win the game for Denver. The home crowd went nuts.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Kuroda said.
