The Washington Senators and Baltimore Kings played an entertaining game for AT&T Park patrons.
Washington picked up a win at AT&T Park, bumping off the Baltimore Kings, 5-4. Pitcher Kai-xi Jia was a major reason the Senators emerged victorious. The winner was Jia. He threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Yasniel Ramirez. Rogelio Domínguez got credit for the save for Washington. It was his 15th of the year.
Washington used the timely hitting of Danny Mrazek to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Senators on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"This was a good win," said Jia.
The Senators now have a mark of 28-31.
