Glaciers Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Arrows
Denver catcher Alvaro Salazar had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Salazar hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, even as Seattle beat the Glaciers, 6-5, in 10 innings. The win was credited to Raul Madera in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Olaf Bax took the loss. The Arrows are now 23-38.

Shane Hirsh came through with a big-time hit for Seattle. The right fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Denver manager Todd Bleess.
