Starting pitcher Divino Aljeroz had a solid game. He was a big reason the Philadelphia Spectres throttled the Maine Lobster, 3-1. The Spectres are now 28-33, while the Lobster fall to 29-30.

Dave Palacios had a big 2-run home run for the Spectres in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Philadelphia leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Raudelin Proenza and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Spectres on top, 3-0.

In postgame comments, Palacios told the Philadelphia Chronicle: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
