The Miami Cyclones pinned a convincing loss on the Boston Greens, 10-3, at Kroger Stadium. Nick Johnston was a main factor in the win. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 for Miami. Nestor Fajardo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 6 save opportunities. The Cyclones now own a record of 24-36.

The Greens had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Cyclones going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old left fielder Cody Daniels came to the plate. Daniels hit a 2-run home run on a 1-1 fastball from Boston hurler Javy Alejo. It was Daniels's 9th home run of the year.

"We hit the ball hard," said Miami manager Chris Stephan. "Line drive after line drive."
